This is a very interesting animation that Shaun showed us in class, mostly because it was all done on a beach which meant they probably had to redo the indents they made on the beach over hundred times for each frame (which must of been a real pain in the ass). Another thing that interests me is that the animation was shot with 3 Nokia N8 phones which nothing compared to something like a Cannon 6D, and is the largest stop motion animation filmed on that phone.
I can’t really think of ways this would help me within my own animation, because I never really thought about making a stop-motion animation using a beach, but it does further prove the point that you can use anything to animate.
